Analytics is all the rage, and for good reason. We’re increasing our investment in web analytics, and on the search for someone that lives and breathes digital data. As a Senior Web Analytics Analyst, you’ll provide overall website testing, website personalization, website analysis and web customer behavioral analytics in order to drive incremental sales and profit. You’ll have the incredible opportunity to directly contribute to achieving sales, profit and growth goals through their ability to understand and interpret data, and make grounded recommendations to improve digital performance.  You will also play a key role in setting the strategic direction for the digital business, maximizing sales opportunities and improving customer experience across digital touch points.  In short, this is a pretty major role. 


  • Utilize data insights to inform the development of A/B and multivariate tests (including developing hypothesis, influencing creative, identifying success metrics and analysis) that drive improvement of key web site and customer metrics
  • Spearhead website personalization efforts, leveraging behavioral and real time data to tailor site experience to each visitor
  • Lead the collection, measurement, reporting, and analysis of web behavioral data across business units. You’ll continually provide reporting on this and other ad-hoc requests
  • Identify, measure, and monitor key performance indicators, with while making recommendations impacting site, content, marketing, and e-commerce
  • Disseminate relevant web analytics data throughout the organization; you’ll champion data-driven decision making in Ecommerce and beyond
  • Support and audit tagging so we’re always aligned with business measurement objectives
  • Work closely with Ecommerce development team to identify data capture opportunities and collaboratively implement improvements
  • Partner with web analytics, testing, and personalization vendors to assure proper implementation and ongoing optimization. You’ll serve as SME on all digital medium analytics and measurement tools, and stay current on latest trends in web measurement strategies while guiding cross-channel attribution methodology


  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline or equivalent experience 
  • 3-5 years’ experience with web analytics (Coremetrics, Omniture, Google Analytics) and testing tools combined with very deep Excel skills
  • 2+ years of high level expertise with Business Intelligence tools and experience writing & tuning SQL queries in an online or offline environment (this, right here is icing on the cake)
  • At least 2 years’ experience measuring success of online marketing programs including paid search, affiliate marketing, email, comparison shopping, display advertising, and SEO campaigns 
  • Experience with Ecommerce platforms and website tagging a big plus
  • A drive to learn with high degree of analytic curiosity
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources
