Do you love pop culture and have super power analytic skills? Our Merchandise Planning team is looking for a Merchandise Planning Analyst to join their forces!

In this role you will provide analytical and reporting support to the company and merchandise planning team. This work involves working with multiple teams to create and analyze reports to offer well thought out and articulated solutions. This role will be integral in to the Planning team and help develop processes and tools to offer actionable solutions from a data driven approach. 


  • Prepares communication to the business relative to sales, inventory, and gross margin analysis primarily through Excel and Looker
  • Partners with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop new reporting and dashboards
  • Looker dashboard expert including limited Looker development, metric creation/editing, and LookML reporting
  • Utilize Looker, SQL, Excel or other tools to create visibility into company performance and initiatives
  • Analyze license and style level performance of Print on Demand (POD) to make recommendations to grow business and create opportunity for all channels
  • Advise merchant and planning teams in developing POD strategies based on reported findings
  • Manages the full promotion life cycle and coordinates with Store Ops, Visual, Marketing, and Planning on weekly promo changes, forward looking calendar, and promo performance
  • Project quantities for reorder styles each week and partner with cross-functional teams on recommendations
  • Updates global lists on markdowns and initial mark-ups
  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • At least 6 months of analytics experience working with business partners
  • At least 6 months of SQL experience
  • Must have advanced proficiency in Excel and VBA and have the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • BA/BS Degree in Information Systems, Economics, Business, Computer Science or any other analytical field
  • Experience with data analysis in a variety of quantitative fields and experience building reports and effectively communicating findings
  • Excellent problem solving and visual thinking skills
