UX Designer

We're looking for a UX designer who demonstrates empathy for the user, a deep understanding of user-centered design (UCD) and strong analytical abilities. You must have an understanding of technical limitations as well as business strategies and goals, backed by a knowledge of different technologies. In this roll you will conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and use the information to create sitemaps, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.  You must come with a ‘Mobile-First’ mentality and approach the overall design methodology using that paradigm.  


  • Understand product specifications and user psychology
  • Conducting user research and testing
  • Create personas through user research and data
  • Prepare customer analyses based on our target demographic and initial transactions
  • Work directly with product owners and other stakeholders to develop a shared vision of the end product
  • Developing wireframes and task flows based on user needs
  • Collaborating with Developers to create intuitive, user-friendly ecommerce website, mobile and app experience
  • Work in a rapid development and prototyping environment where effective communication is paramount 
  • Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
  • Track usability goals and prepare reports for senior management
  • Conduct competitive analyses of other websites that operate in the same space
  • Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)


  • Bachelor’s degree in User Experience, Interaction Design, Visual Design or similar experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Experience in collaborating with stakeholders, domain experts, users, and developers
  • Experience in creating of complex enterprise systems across multiple platforms (e.g. Web/Mobile/Desktop Application)
  • Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
  • Mastery of wire-framing and prototyping software
  • Understanding user centered design theory and best practices
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environment
  • Knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery a plus
  • Analytical mind with a business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
