Quality Control Technician

City of Industry, CA (CADC) - Full-time


Help us cross our T’s and dot our I’s as a Quality Control Technician within our California Distribution Center. This position assures consistent quality of product, for the company’s brands, by enforcing effective quality control checks of materials, components and assemblies. This position plays a key role within the Quality Control Team.


  • Independently verifies quality standard of all production and shipment samples from incoming purchase orders
  • Verifies compliance to product packaging requirements, ticketing, product description, labels and other information
  • Ensures grading, tolerance and spec measurements are correct and verifies trim, style, color & artwork are accurate to order
  • Reviews quality inspection testing and test data reports to ensure all regulatory standards are met
  • Provide prompt alerts and/or solutions for non-compliant shipments; determine the need of chargebacks
  • Collaborates with Receiving department and other departments inside the DC to process purchase orders
  • Process wholesale POs per Disney requirements and in coordination with Product Development department
  • Responsible in updating department reporting logs throughout the day
  • Performs other job duties as needed


  • Experience in working inside warehouses to process shipments or similar working environments; past quality control experience a plus
  • Higher education a plus
  • Strong communication skills including ability to work independently as well in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator
  • Computer literate and competently skilled in working with Excel, Word and email
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi task environment
  • Excellent follow-up skills and ability to trouble-shoot
  • Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure
  • Is accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues
  • A distribution center environment.  Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and lift/move up to 40 pounds
