As a member of the Purchasing team, you will be integral in preparing and tracking purchase orders, gathering information for further project analysis, and tracking project progress.  You’re a team player who possess strong communication and administrative skills. You are not afraid to take risks and provide exceptional customer service. 

Pay range starting at $50,000-$55,000.

Please note the pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but other factors such as an individual’s education, location, meeting the minimum job requirements for the role, training and experience, will determine the final salary for potential new hires.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Print and sort company and store supply orders; assign and keeps track of purchasing requisitions to Purchasing Agents.
  • Perform data entry into supply inventory management system.
  • Process and submit orders to the appropriate vendors.
  • Day to day clerical work.
  • Match outstanding purchase orders to incoming invoices; investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Compile weekly and monthly reports and assist purchasing team in resolving potential issues identified on the reports.
  • Run month-end closing reports; compile data and submit reports to Finance for further processing.
  • Support purchasing team by assisting in project research, tracking, and management.
  • Perform other job duties as needed. 
  • Communicate regularly with vendors and stores
  • Provide strong communication and customer service to various parties
  • This is a remote role, however, training is on site and occassional meetings held onsite

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous clerical experience is a plus
  • Purchasing Background or college graduate is a plus
  • Great customer service skills
  • You have strong computer skills (Word and Excel)
  • You are able to interface with all levels of employees effectively
  • You are well organized and detail oriented
  • You illustrate a dedication to meeting requirements of internal and external customers, responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly
  • You have strong communication skills including ability to work in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator
  • You meet deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure
  • You are accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively and looks for ways to resolve problems and issues
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and lift/move up to 10 pounds.  May lift/move up to 60 pounds occasionally
